Wiring Two ADC-VDB770s to a Single Mechanical Chime

The ADC-VDB770 can be wired so that two video doorbells connect to a single mechanical chime. This configuration requires each doorbell to have its own power module and proper wiring.

Important: This setup is only supported with mechanical chimes. Digital chimes are not compatible with this wiring configuration.

Wiring Instructions

Doorbell Camera 1

  • On the power module, attach the white wires interchangeably to the FRONT and TRANS terminals on the chime.
  • Attach the gray wires interchangeably to the transformer and the ADC-VDB770.
  • On the ADC-VDB770, attach the remaining wire to the transformer.

Doorbell Camera 2

  • On the power module, attach the white wires interchangeably to the REAR and TRANS terminals on the chime.
  • Attach the gray wires interchangeably to the transformer and the ADC-VDB770.
  • On the ADC-VDB770, attach the remaining wire to the transformer.

Conceptual Wiring Diagram

Transformer → Power Module 1 → Chime (Front/Trans) → Doorbell 1
Transformer → Power Module 2 → Chime (Rear/Trans) → Doorbell 2
Both modules connect back to the transformer and each ADC-VDB770 in parallel.
