How to Factory Reset the ADC-VDB770 Video Doorbell Camera
Resetting your ADC-VDB770 doorbell camera to its factory default settings will erase all programming and settings. After a reset, the device must be removed from your Alarm.com account and re-enrolled before it can be used again.
Important Notes Before Resetting
- Performing a reset clears all existing configurations, rules, and Wi-Fi settings.
- Allow at least two minutes for the device to fully power on before attempting the reset. If it is still powering on, the reset may fail.
- After the reset, it is recommended to leave the doorbell connected to power and undisturbed for at least 2 minutes while it reboots.
ADC-VDB770 Factory Reset Procedure
- Ensure the device is powered on and connected to power.
- Press and hold the doorbell button on the front of the ADC-VDB770 for at least 75 seconds.
- Release the button when the LED begins blinking red and green.
- Wait while the device reboots and restores factory default settings.
After the Reset
- Re-enroll the ADC-VDB770 to your account using the Alarm.com website, Customer app, or MobileTech app.
- Reconfigure Wi-Fi, recording rules, and notification settings.
- Verify the camera is functioning and appears in your account equipment list.
Troubleshooting
- If the reset does not succeed, ensure you are holding the button for the full 75 seconds.
- Confirm that the LED flashes red and green before releasing the button.
