- Tap Video > Recording Rules.
- Edit an existing Video Analytics rule or tap + Add New Rule.

Best Practices
- Keep the Ground Zone small to reduce false triggers.
- Avoid high-traffic paths (like walkways or mail paths).
- Offset the zone slightly from the door—such as the bottom step—so guests naturally trigger it before pressing the button.
Accessories
- Video Doorbell Mat (ADC-VDBA-MAT): Indicates where guests should stand.
- Video Doorbell Touchless Cover (ADC-VDBA-COVER): Blocks the physical button to encourage touchless use.
FAQs
- Is the notification different? No, it’s identical to a button press.
- Can it trigger Z-Wave lights? Yes, through Video Analytics rules.
- Can I disable button presses? No, button presses always remain active.
- How often can it trigger? Once every 10 seconds.
- If a guest presses the button after touchless is triggered? The chime will sound again.
Troubleshooting
If the Touchless Doorbell triggers outside the Ground Zone, reduce the zone size. A buffer is included around the zone for quicker response, so adjusting its size improves accuracy.
