Stream Video Recorder (ADC-SVR100) - Installation Guide

Required items for installation

  • Stream Video Recorder (ADC-SVR100) and AC power adapter (included)
  • Ethernet Cable (included)
  • Broadband (Cable, DSL, or Fiber Optic) Internet connection
  • Internet router
  • Windows or Mac computer
  • Login/password for the customer's account

Packaging contains

  • 1 Stream Video Recorder (SVR)
  • 1 Power adapter
  • 2 white hard drive mounting brackets and screws (may be preinstalled if the hard drive is included)
  • 1 security screw wrench for opening the SVR
  • 2 zip ties
  • 1 Ethernet cable

To install the SVR:

  1. Use a standard Ethernet cable to connect the SVR to the router.

    Important: The SVR must be connected to the same router as the cameras to be associated with it. 
     
  2. Connect the SVR to the AC adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet.
  3. Allow a few minutes for the SVR and router to connect. When the PWR LED is solid green, the wireless connection is complete. 
  4. Add the device to the account by selecting the account in the MobileTech app, by using the Customer app Video Installation Wizard, or by using a web browser and entering the following web address: www.alarm.com/addcamera (you will need the customer’s user name and password if using the Customer Website).  For more information about adding a camera to an account, see Enroll the video device to the customer account
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to enroll and set up the SVR. For more information about adding a camera to an account, see Enroll the video device to the customer account

PWR LED Off Power off
Solid Red Power on, system booting OR No local or internet connection (after 2 minutes)
Green blinking every second Local network connection with local IP address
Solid Green Full internet connection with Alarm.com
HDD LED Off Hard drive disconnected
Solid Green Hard drive connected
Green blinking every second Hard drive cyclic recording
Green blinking every 0.2 seconds RAID 1 rebuilding
Red blinking every 0.2 seconds Hard drive configuration error
Solid Red Hard drive error
Channel 1/2/3/4 LED Off No camera associated with channel
Blue blinking every 0.2 seconds

Cameras associated but not recording

Note: When utilizing channels 5-8, the channel LEDs are shared*. If one or both cameras are not able to record, the channel LED will blink.

*Channel 5 shares a LED with channel 1

Channel 6 shares a LED with channel 2 

Channel 7 shares a LED with channel 3

Channel 8 shares a LED with channel 4
