Stream Video Recorder (ADC-SVR122) Installation & Setup Guide
The ADC-SVR122 Stream Video Recorder makes it easy to locally record, store, and view video from your True Protection security cameras. This guide covers everything from pre-installation to troubleshooting.
Pre-Installation Checklist
- Stream Video Recorder (ADC-SVR122)
- AC power adapter (included)
- Ethernet connection to broadband Internet (Cable, DSL, Fiber)
- Login and password for the customer account
Adding the SVR to Your Account
- Connect the SVR to the router using the included Ethernet cable.
- Plug in the AC power adapter to a non-switched outlet.
- Wait for the status LED to turn solid green (indicates full connection).
- Add the device to the account using the MobileTech app, Customer app Video Installation Wizard, or through the website login page.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup and associate cameras with the SVR.
LED Reference Guide
Status LED
- Solid Green: Local + Internet connection.
- Flashing Green: Local network only (no Internet).
- Flashing Red (1s): Booting or no connection.
- Solid Red: Cameras not recording or HDD error.
- Flashing Green & Red: Factory reset in progress (hold reset ~15s).
Hard Drive LED
- Solid Green: Hard drive operating normally.
- Flashing Green: Hard drive full, overwriting oldest footage.
- Solid Red: Hard drive error.
- Flashing Red (1s): Hard drive configuration error.
- Flashing Red (0.2s): Hard drive disconnected.
Camera LEDs
- Solid Green: Camera connected and recording.
- Flashing Green: Camera connected but recording paused.
- Flashing Red: Camera disconnected or not recording.
Viewing Live & Recorded Video Locally
- Connect the SVR122 to a TV or monitor using an HDMI cable.
- Plug in a wired or wireless USB mouse to the SVR122.
- Move the mouse to open the main menu. Options include:
- Layouts & Rotation: Choose different live view layouts and rotate feeds.
- Search: Watch recorded video and control playback speed.
- Settings: Manage camera connections, layout positions, and rotation options.
Troubleshooting
- Connection Issues: Power cycle the SVR and verify the Ethernet cable and Internet access.
- Factory Reset: Hold the reset button until the status LED flashes green and red (~15s). Re-add the device to the account if previously installed.
- Hard Drive Errors: Run diagnostics through the Customer Website.
- Camera Not Recording: Check camera connections and configuration.
