SVR Smart View: Stream, Search & Save Video

Use Smart View to review recorded footage from your Stream Video Recorder (SVR) directly in your browser or the mobile app. You can stream specific times, adjust playback speed, filter for activity, and save/download important clips.

What You Can Do with Smart View

Stream recordings from specific dates and times.
Scan quickly with hour/day timeline scales and skip controls.
Speed up playback (up to 8× on the website).
Filter the timeline by activity to find key moments fast.
Save/download clips for sharing or archiving.

View SVR Recordings on the Customer Website

Log in and go to Video → Settings → SVR Timeline.
(Optional) Use Select Camera Group to choose a group, then click Play to start streaming.

Basic Website Controls

Skip ±30s: Click the forward/back icons to jump 30 seconds.
Playback Speed: Choose your speed from the Speed menu (max 8× on web).
Timeline Scale: Switch between Hour and Day views to zoom in/out.
Jump by Scale: Use the next/previous timeline buttons to move by the current scale.

Select a Specific Date & Time

Open the calendar/date picker on the timeline.
Select the desired date and time, then click Apply.

Filter Events on the Timeline

Next to Activity, open the Filters menu.
Choose your event types and click Apply.

View SVR Recordings in the Customer App

Open the app → Video → SVR.
Select a camera (on iPad you’ll see a grid of devices).
Tap Play to begin streaming.

Mobile Timeline Tips

Scrub: Drag the gray bar to the moment you want.
Tap-to-jump: Tap anywhere on the timeline to jump.
More playback: Use the forward/back arrows to load additional footage.

Mobile Playback Controls

Playback Speed: Use the speed control (note: higher speeds require more upload bandwidth).
Timeline Scale: Switch between Hour, Day, and Week to zoom.
Date Picker: Tap the current time to open the calendar and jump to any day/time.

Local Playback (SVR Hardware)

The ADC-SVR122 and ADC-CSVR126 also support local playback on a connected monitor (HDMI/VGA). Use a USB mouse for full control, view live and recorded video, and export clips to a USB storage device.

Saving & Downloading Clips

From Smart View, you can mark a start/end range and export the clip. For best results, note the event time on the timeline, select your range precisely, then download the file to your device for sharing or archives.

Troubleshooting Tips

No or slow streaming? Reduce playback speed or zoom into an Hour timeline for precise scrubbing. Confirm your internet upload speed and network stability.
Nothing plays at a time? Check event filters and verify the selected camera or camera group.
