Updating Firmware on Alarm.com Video Devices
You can remotely update the firmware of an Alarm.com video device using the Partner Portal, MobileTech app, or Customer Website. The Upgrade option will only appear when a new update is available.
Update via Partner Portal
- Log into the Partner Portal.
- Find the customer account.
- Click Equipment → Video Devices.
- Select the device from the Video Device dropdown.
- In Device Firmware, click Upgrade.
- On the Firmware Upgrade page, click Upgrade to send the update.
Update via MobileTech App
- Log into the MobileTech app.
- Find the customer account.
- Tap Equipment.
- In Video Devices, tap the device to update.
- Tap Upgrade Video Device Firmware.
- Tap Ok to send the update.
Update via Customer Website
- Log into the Customer Website.
- Click Video → Settings.
- Select the video device from the Video Device dropdown.
- Click Video Device Info.
- In Firmware Version, click Update Firmware to begin the update.
