If the panel is not armed or disarmed within a given period, a signal is sent to the monitoring station. By default, the lack of usage signal period is set for 7 days.
The signal is sent every time the panel has not been disarmed consecutively for the set time period.
Example: If the lack of usage is 7 days and is not disarmed for 15 days in a row, then a signal is sent on the 7th day and also the 14th day.
To change lack of usage time using the Partner Portal:
- Log into the Partner Portal.
- Find the customer account.
- Click Remote Toolkit.
- In Command Catalog, click Timers.
- Click Q22: Enter CS lack of usage notification time, in days (0-255).
- In the New Value field, enter the desired period in days (0-255).
Note: Entering the value 0 turns this feature off so no lack of usage signal is sent to the monitoring station.
- Click Change.
To change lack of usage time using MobileTech:
- Log into MobileTech.
- Find the customer account.
- Tap Remote Toolkit.
- Tap Command Catalog.
- Tap Timers.
- Tap Q22: Enter CS lack of usage notification time, in days (0-255).
- In the New Value field, enter the desired period in days (0-255).
Note: Entering the value 0 turns this feature off so no lack of usage signal is sent to the monitoring station.
- Tap Change.
To change lack of usage time using the 2GIG GoControl panel:
- Go to the home screen.
- Tap Security.
- Tap Menu.
- Tap Toolbox.
- Enter the installer code.
- Tap Installer Toolbox.
- Tap System Configuration.
- Tap Go to, then tap [22] to go to Q22: Enter CS lack of usage notification time, in days (0-255).
- Enter the desired period in days (0-255).
Note: Entering the value 0 turns this feature off so no lack of usage signal is sent to the monitoring station.
- Tap End.
- Verify Save changes is selected, then tap Exit. The system reboots to save the changes.
