Users can mount the ADC-V723 directly to an existing outlet box using an outlet box adapter kit sold by Alarm.com. The adapters allow for a cleaner installation.

The outlet box adapter kits are compatible with the ADC-V723 for single and dual gang outlet boxes. These kits can be purchased from the Partner Portal.

Required hardware

• ADC-V723 with its included mounting bracket
• Existing outlet box
• One of the following kits:
  • Single Gang Outlet Box Adapter (ADC-OB101)
  • Dual Gang Outlet Box Adapter (ADC-OB102)

• Gasket
• Screws (Dual gang x10 — single gang x6)

To mount an ADC-V723 to an outlet box:

1. Remove the existing outlet box cover.
2. Route the video device's power cord through the video device mounting bracket, Outlet Box Adapter, and existing outlet box to the power source.
3. Attach the Outlet Box Adapter to the outlet box using the included screws. Use the self-tapping screws for plastic outlet boxes and machined screws for metal outlet boxes.
4. Attach the video device's mounting bracket to the Outlet Box Adapter.
5. Slide the video device into place and tighten the set screw.
