SkyBell HD Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera's LED is flashing Red/Blue
print icon

This LED status indicates the SkyBell HD Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera's (ADC-VDB101/102) battery is charging. It is normal for the camera to do this for 5-45 minutes when it is first connected. If there are other pieces of hardware to install, consider wiring the SkyBell HD Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera first to allow adequate time for charging.

If the SkyBell HD Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera continues to flash red and blue:

  1. Confirm the power being supplied from the transformer is adequate.
    • Operational range: 8-36 VAC
    • Ideal range: 12-26 VAC
  2. Power cycle the SkyBell HD Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera. To perform a power cycle:
    1. Remove the SkyBell HD Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera from the mounting bracket.
    2. Wait two minutes.
    3. Remount the SkyBell HD Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera.
