Kwikset 910 Deadbolt (SmartCode Deadbolt 99100) - Battery Replacement

The Kwikset 910 Deadbolt requires four AA batteries.

To replace the batteries in a Kwikset 910 Deadbolt:

  1. Remove the lock cover.

    Remove cover.png
     
  2. Take out the battery pack.

    Remove battery pack.png
     
  3. Insert new AA batteries into the battery pack.

  4. Slide the battery pack back into the lock panel.

  5. Reinstall the lock cover.

Note: If the low battery does not automatically clear on the customer's equipment list, request an updated status from the lock using the Partner Portal or MobileTech app. For more information about requesting the status, see Request an updated status on Z-Wave devices.
