Lutron Caséta equipment list is not populating

Depending on the Caséta Wireless connection quality, it can sometimes take up to 10-15 minutes for the Lutron equipment list to populate in the Event History on the Partner Portal.

Equipment list issues, like most unexpected behavior with the Alarm.com's Lutron integration, are often a result of internet connectivity issues with the customer’s Lutron setup. As Lutron can work with a local connection only, these issues can be tough to diagnose at first.

If the Lutron Caséta equipment list is not populating:

  1. Verify Lights and Lutron Integration are enabled on the service package.
  2. Verify the Caséta Wireless system added successfully. If not, power cycle the Caséta Wireless system and attempt to remove and re-add once more.
  3. Does the customer's Lutron login have more than one location with separate controllers for each in the Lutron app? If so, each Lutron controller must be associated with a separate Lutron login in order to integrate Lutron with more than one Alarm.com account.
  4. Are commands working when using the Lutron app on mobile data instead of Wi-Fi? If it does not work on data, and an error is present, it likely only has a local connection. Involve a networking professional.
  5. Are there any connection errors in the Event History? If so, power cycle the router. If connection issues persist, contact a networking professional.

  6. If the previous steps do not result in a populated Lutron equipment list on Alarm.com, contact Alarm.com CORE Technical Support.
