How to Rename Lutron Devices and Update the Equipment List

Step 1: Rename Devices in the Lutron App or Website

Lutron devices must be renamed using the Lutron app or Lutron website. For assistance with renaming devices within the Lutron system, please contact Lutron directly or refer to their official documentation.

Step 2: Request an Updated Lutron Equipment List

Once devices are renamed in Lutron, you must refresh the equipment list to sync the new names with the Alarm.com system.

  1. Log into the Partner Portal or MobileTech app.
  2. Locate the customer account.
  3. Click Equipment.
  4. Select Lutron.
  5. Click Get Equipment List to refresh.
