Schlage BE469 Touchscreen Deadbolt - Battery Replacement

The Schlage BE469 Touchscreen Deadbolt requires four high-quality alkaline AA batteries.

To replace the batteries in a Schalge BE469 Touchscreen Deadbolt:

  1. Remove the battery cover from the alarm assembly.

  2. Unsnap the connector.
  3. Remove the battery tray.

  4. Install four high-quality alkaline AA batteries.

    Caution: Lithium batteries may cause undesirable operation.

  5. Carefully replace the battery tray, with the batteries facing the door.

  6. Snap the connector back into place.
  7. Reinstall the battery cover.

Note: If the low battery does not automatically clear on the customer's equipment list, request an updated status from the lock using the Partner Portal or MobileTech app. For more information about requesting the status, see Request an updated status on Z-Wave devices.
