Yale Assure Touchscreen Deadbolt (YRD256) - Battery Replacement Instructions
The Yale Assure Touchscreen Deadbolt (YRD256) requires four AA Alkaline batteries.
To replace the batteries:
- Remove the battery cover.
- Verify the bolt is in the unlocked position.
- Insert four new AA Alkaline batteries.
- Reinstall the battery cover.
Note: If the low battery warning does not automatically clear on the customer's equipment list, request an updated status from the lock using the Partner Portal or MobileTech app. For more information, see Request an updated status on Z-Wave devices.
