Yale Assure Touchscreen Lever Lock (YRL226) requires four AA Alkaline batteries. 

To replace the batteries in a Yale Assure Touchscreen Lever Lock (YRL226):

1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Insert four new AA batteries, then reinstall the battery cover.
