Yale NexTouch Sectional Mortise Lock - Battery Replacement Guide

The Yale NexTouch Sectional Mortise Lock operates using four AA alkaline batteries. Regularly replacing the batteries ensures the lock continues to function reliably and prevents loss of Z-Wave connectivity.

How to Replace the Batteries

  1. Remove the battery cover from the inside portion of the lock.
  2. Insert four new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Reinstall the cover securely to complete the replacement.

Note: If the low-battery notification does not automatically clear on the customer’s equipment list, request an updated status from the lock using the Partner Portal or MobileTech app.

For more information about this process, see Request an Updated Status on Z-Wave Devices.
