Auto phone tests (also called Timer or Periodic Tests) help verify that a system is communicating and that the monitoring station is receiving signals. The process can be different from panel to panel, and can be programmed in different ways.

If the monitoring station is not receiving auto phone tests, see Monitoring station not receiving Auto Phone Tests.
