The auto stay feature is a way for panels to prevent false alarms. If arming locally, the customer must exit through an entry/exit sensor during the exit delay in order to have the panel arm away. Otherwise, it always reverts to arm-stay. This is not the case when arming from an app or keyfob.
To enable auto stay locally at the 2GIG GC3 panel:
- Tap System Settings.
- Enter the installer code.
- Tap Installer Toolbox.
- Tap System Configuration.
- Tap Panel Programming.
- Scroll to Q14: Auto stay, then tap to select Enabled.
To enable auto stay using the Partner Portal:
Note: It is recommended to disarm the panel before making any panel programming changes.
- Log into the Partner Portal.
- Find the customer account.
- Click Remote Toolkit.
- In the Command Catalog, click to expand Arming Settings.
- Click Q14: Select auto stay (0 to 1).
- Using the New value dropdown menu, select Enable.
- Click Change.
